Comparison review
The Galaxy A40 has an overall score of 79.6, which is slightly better than Xperia 10 II's 78.5 global score. Even though the Galaxy A40 is older than the Xperia 10 II, it's construction is just a bit thinner and a bit lighter. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A40 has the newer 11 version and Xperia 10 II has Android 10 version, so it counts with some additional features.
Xperia 10 II features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A40. They have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. The Sony Xperia 10 II counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A40, because it has a little better pixel quantity per inch in the display, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a bit bigger display.
Xperia 10 II features a camera that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy A40 one, because although the Xperia 10 II has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photos or video in low light environments and a back facing camera with way less megapixels, and they both have a 0.36 inches camera sensor, it also counts with a way better (4K) video quality.
The Xperia 10 II features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A40, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia 10 II has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity.
