The Xperia PRO-I is a lot better than Galaxy A40, with a overall score of 96.3 against 79.6. These phones have the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. Xperia PRO-I is a noticeably newer phone than Galaxy A40, but it's extremely heavier and somewhat thicker.
