The Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A40's general score of 79.6. These phones use Android OS, but Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11. Xperia Z5 Premium's construction has the same thickness than the Galaxy A40, but it is heavier.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
