Comparison review
The Galaxy A40 is a little bit better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, with a score of 79.6 against 79.6. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A40 has the older 11 version and Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Galaxy A40 is an noticeably older cellphone than Xiaomi 12 Pro, but Samsung could make it noticeably lighter and just a little thinner.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a brighter display than Galaxy A40, because it has a bit larger screen, a little bit better amount of pixels in each inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3200. The Galaxy A40 has a much faster CPU than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video definition, a much more mega pixels camera in the back and a much bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality. The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a much longer battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
