Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is a bit better than the Galaxy A40, getting an 82.7 score against 79.6. Despite being the best cellphone we compare here, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro construction is somewhat thicker and much heavier than the Galaxy A40. These phones have Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has an older 10 version while Galaxy A40 has Android 11.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also counts with a little bigger display. Galaxy A40 features a quite bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro features a bit better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also has more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro takes much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos, it also counts with a way more megapixels back-facing camera, a much better 3840x2160 video quality and a much larger camera sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro features longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3100mAh.
