Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is much better than the Galaxy A40, getting an 89 score against 79.6. Both of these devices use the same Android 11 OS. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 body has the same thickness than Galaxy A40, but it is notably heavier. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 also has more RAM.
Galaxy A40 counts with a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
