Comparison review
The Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, getting a score of 79.6 against 76. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A40 has older 11 version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even though the Galaxy A40 is just a little thicker than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, it's lighter and much newer.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with 2 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a quite bigger screen, a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little bit better pixels count per screen inch.
The Galaxy A40 has a bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. Galaxy A40 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a tinier camera sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, a much lower (Full HD) video resolution and a lot less MP resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low-light captures.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
