The Xiaomi Poco F3 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A40, getting an 87.3 score against 79.6. Both phones in this review have the same Android 11 OS. The Xiaomi Poco F3 is a incredibly heavier phone than Samsung Galaxy A40, but they have the same thickness. The Xiaomi Poco F3 has a sharper screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little lower pixels density, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a better storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Poco F3, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Poco F3 has a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Poco F3 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Poco F3 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution, a lot higher (4K) video quality and a much larger back camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.
