Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A40 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, with a 79.6 score against 79. Samsung Galaxy A40 is an older cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat thinner and way lighter anyway. Both devices in our current comparison come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A40. They have 8 processing cores and 4 GB of RAM. Galaxy A40 features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2340px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher number of pixels in each display inch.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Galaxy A40 both have quite similar storage for games and applications, both of them have the same 64 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy A40, because it has a 62 percent larger battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and videos, it also counts with a much larger sensor which gives a much higher image and video quality, a lot higher (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with way more MP.
