Galaxy A42 is a bit better than Huawei P50 Pro, with a general score of 87 against 80. Although the Galaxy A42 and Huawei P50 Pro were released with only a couple months difference, the Galaxy A42 design is a bit lighter but also a bit thicker. The Galaxy A42 counts with Android 11 operating system, while Huawei P50 Pro comes with HarmonyOS operating system.
Huawei P50 Pro has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P50 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM.
