Samsung Galaxy S6 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A42, getting a score of 87.4 against 87. The Samsung Galaxy S6 design is noticeably thinner and way lighter than the Samsung Galaxy A42, despite of the fact that it was released 6 years before. These phones come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy A42 has Android 11.
The Galaxy S6 features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a GPU and a 64-bits processor. Galaxy S6 features a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels quantity per inch in the display and a much better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Galaxy A42 counts with a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy A42 has a superior battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A42 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a much better 48 MP resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture.
