Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is just a bit better than Xperia 1, having an 87 score against 82.6. Although the Galaxy A42 is newer than the Xperia 1, it's just a little heavier and just a little bit thicker. Xperia 1 features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 also has more RAM memory.
Sony Xperia 1 has a way better screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and way more pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1000 GB.
The Galaxy A42 counts with a very superior battery life than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 50 percent greater battery size.
