HTC U23 Pro has a general score of 77.8, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016)'s overall score of 71.9. The HTC U23 Pro design is incredibly newer, but thicker and noticeably heavier than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016). The Galaxy A5 (2016) features just a bit better looking screen than HTC U23 Pro, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixels number per screen inch.

The HTC U23 Pro has a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. The Galaxy A5 (2016) counts with a very superior processing unit than HTC U23 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

The HTC U23 Pro has a much longer battery duration than Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh. HTC U23 Pro shoots slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
