Comparison review
Huawei Mate 8 has a global score of 77.4, which is a bit better than Galaxy A5 (2016)'s global score of 71.9. Although it's the best cellphone we are comparing, we must highlight that it's also just a little bit thicker and heavier. Huawei Mate 8 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Galaxy A5 (2016) counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Galaxy A5 (2016) also counts with a bit higher pixel number in each inch in the display. The Huawei Mate 8 has a much greater memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 128 GB, the Huawei Mate 8 also has 112 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 8 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with higher video frame rates and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.
