The OnePlus 9 is a a lot newer cellphone than Galaxy A5 (2016), although it's thicker and somewhat heavier. The OnePlus 9 has a better hardware performance than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 9 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
