Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is much better than Galaxy A5 (2016), getting a general score of 81.9 against 71.9. Even though Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is newer than the Galaxy A5 (2016), it is a lot thicker and heavier. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S8 Active also has 2 GB more RAM.
Galaxy S8 Active has just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has a greater pixels count in each display inch, a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a quite larger display. Galaxy S8 Active takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has a lower resolution camera, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture and a way higher 3840x2160 video definition.
