Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has an overall score of 79, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016)'s 71.9 global score. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's construction is much newer than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016)'s, although it is just a bit heavier and incredibly thicker. Xperia XZ2 Compact has just a little better performance than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact has a more vivid screen than Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a little bit greater display pixels density. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video definition and a lot more MP back camera.
