Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z3 has an overall score of 77.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A5 (2016)'s score of 71.9. Sony Xperia Z3 is an older, somewhat thicker and just a little heavier phone than Galaxy A5 (2016). Xperia Z3 counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and an extra GPU.
Sony Xperia Z3 has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016). Both of them have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the same pixel density and a screen of the same size. The Xperia Z3 has a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Xperia Z3 also has 32 GB internal storage capacity.
Xperia Z3 takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking pictures in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better resolution and a much higher (4K) video resolution.
The Sony Xperia Z3 has a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity.
