Xiaomi 12 Pro has a global score of 79.6, which is better than Galaxy A5 (2016)'s global score of 71.9. Xiaomi 12 Pro's construction is way newer than Galaxy A5 (2016)'s, but it is noticeably heavier and a bit thicker. Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has a little greater screen pixel density, a bigger screen and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
Galaxy A5 (2016) features a lot better performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro features a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), because it has a 4600mAh battery size instead of 2900mAh. The Xiaomi 12 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy A5 (2016), and although they both have a F1.9 aperture, the Xiaomi 12 Pro also has a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a way more MP back-facing camera.
