Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a general score of 75.8, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016)'s global score of 71.9. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's construction is notably newer, but heavier and a bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016). Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a little bit better pixels amount per inch of display.
