The LG G3 is just a bit better than Galaxy A5 (2017), with a overall score of 76.4 against 75.8. Despite of the fact the LG G3 is noticeably older and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy A5 (2017), it's design is still just a bit lighter. LG G3 features just a little better performance than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has 4 less cpu cores (although they are faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG G3 also counts with an additional graphics processor.
LG G3 counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a little bit larger screen. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) features a little bit better storage to store more apps and games than LG G3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 256 GB.
The LG G3 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a back camera with lesser MP resolution and a much smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing photos or videos in low light situations, it also counts with a much higher video definition. LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) have incredibly similar battery durations.
