The Samsung Galaxy A22 has a score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy A5 (2017)'s global score of 75.8. Samsung Galaxy A22's construction is newer than the Galaxy A5 (2017)'s, but it is a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A22, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixels amount per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920.

Galaxy A5 (2017) features a much longer battery life than Galaxy A22. Samsung Galaxy A22 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A22 also has a larger aperture to capture better images in low-light environments and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.
