Samsung Galaxy F23 is better than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), getting an 84.6 score against 75.8. Samsung Galaxy F23's construction is much newer and incredibly lighter than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)'s, but it is also a bit thicker.
