The Samsung Galaxy S8 has an overall score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A5 (2017)'s overall score of 75.8. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a a bit lighter device than Galaxy A5 (2017), but both of them have the same thickness. Galaxy S8 has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a greater pixel density, a way higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a quite bigger screen.
Galaxy S8 has a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB, the Galaxy S8 also has 64 GB internal storage. The Galaxy S8 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S8 also has 1 GB more RAM.
Galaxy S8's battery duration is just as good as the battery lifetime in Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017). Galaxy S8 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a back facing camera with lot less mega pixels, it also counts with a way better (4K) video definition and a bigger aperture.
