The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is just a bit better than the Galaxy A5 (2017), getting a 77.6 score against 75.8. Even though the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is noticeably newer than Galaxy A5 (2017), it is noticeably thicker and a lot heavier. Galaxy A5 (2017) has a much more powerful processor than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater amount of pixels in each display inch. Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that supports up to 1 TB.
