The Sony Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)'s 75.8 score. Even though Sony Xperia 1 is incredibly newer than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), it is just a little thicker and somewhat heavier. Xperia 1 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia 1 has a more vivid screen than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has way more pixels per inch of display, a lot better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a bigger display. The Xperia 1 counts with a much bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Xperia 1 counts with a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a 3330mAh battery capacity. The Sony Xperia 1 has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a much lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and videos and a much better (4K) video quality.
