Xiaomi Poco M3 is a little bit better than Galaxy A5 (2017), getting a global score of 78.2 against 75.8. The Xiaomi Poco M3 design is a lot newer, but thicker and somewhat heavier than the Galaxy A5 (2017). The Galaxy A5 (2017) features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has 1 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a 6000mAh battery size. The Xiaomi Poco M3 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a back-facing camera with a way better resolution and a larger aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited environments.
