The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a global score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A5 (2017)'s 75.8 score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's design is much newer, but somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than Galaxy A5 (2017). The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a superior battery life than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity.
