The iPhone 12 is slightly better than Galaxy A50, having an 88.7 score against 83.8. IPhone 12's design is newer, a bit lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy A50. The iPhone 12 features a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has 2 less CPU cores (although they are faster), and they both have a 4 GB RAM, the iPhone 12 also counts with a 64-bits processor.
The iPhone 12 features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels and a bit better quantity of pixels in each inch of display. The Galaxy A50 takes clearer photos and videos than Apple iPhone 12, because although it has slower video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
The Galaxy A50 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than iPhone 12, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A50 has a much better battery lifetime than iPhone 12, because it has a 42 percent more battery capacity.
Although iPhone 12 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A50. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 12, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy A50, giving up some specifications.
