IPhone 12 Pro Max is much better than Samsung Galaxy A50, getting a 93.2 score against 83.8. IPhone 12 Pro Max's construction is newer and just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A50's, although it's noticeably heavier. The iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has less processing cores , it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and more RAM memory.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a much better screen than Galaxy A50, because it has a better resolution of 1284 x 2778, a just a little higher screen density and a quite larger screen. The Galaxy A50 has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than iPhone 12 Pro Max, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A50 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A50 features a bit superior battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Samsung Galaxy A50 has a bit better camera than iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a camera with a lot better 25 mega pixels resolution.
Although Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy A50. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy A50, giving up a couple specs and features.
