Comparison review
IPhone 8 Plus is just a bit better than the Galaxy A50, getting a overall score of 87.1 against 83.8. The iPhone 8 Plus design has the same thickness than the Galaxy A50, but it is heavier. Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.
IPhone 8 Plus has just a bit better screen than Galaxy A50, although it has a little bit worse number of pixels per inch of display, a quite smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The Galaxy A50 has a little bit more storage for apps and games than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
IPhone 8 Plus's camera is just as good as the camera in Samsung Galaxy A50, because although the iPhone 8 Plus has a smaller sensor which offers a worse image and video quality, a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels and a smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Galaxy A50 has a way better battery lifetime than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2691mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy A50. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A50, letting go some specifications.
