The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a general score of 86.3, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy A50's 83.8 overall score. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 3 is newer than the Galaxy A50, it is incredibly heavier and much thicker. Asus ROG Phone 3 counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a little bit worse pixel density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also counts with a quite bigger display.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has 8 GB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy A50 features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 3, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.
Asus ROG Phone 3 counts with a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and video, it also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality, a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A50, because it has a 50% bigger battery size.
