Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 has a general score of 83.8, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 3's global score of 80. Even though Galaxy A50 and Google Pixel 3 were released only 5 months apart, Galaxy A50's body is somewhat heavier but also just a bit thinner. Google Pixel 3 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy A50, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little better count of pixels per inch in the screen.
Google Pixel 3 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy A50. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A50 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 3, because it has more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 captures clearer pictures and videos than Google Pixel 3, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor taking lower quality pictures and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a back camera with a lot better 25 mega pixels resolution and a larger aperture to capture better low light images and video.
Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a very superior battery life than Google Pixel 3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy A50 is more expensive than Google Pixel 3, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
