Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 has an overall score of 83.8, which is a bit better than the Google Pixel 4 XL's global score of 82.9. Galaxy A50 is a a little thinner and lighter device than the Google Pixel 4 XL, although both were released only 7 months apart. The Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel count per screen inch and a better 1440 x 3040 pixels resolution.
Google Pixel 4 XL has a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy A50 has a little bit better camera than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality images and videos, and they both have a F1.7 aperture, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a camera with way more mega-pixels.
The Galaxy A50 counts with a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB more internal memory. Galaxy A50 features a little longer battery life than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy A50 is also a lot cheaper.
