Google Pixel 5 has a score of 89, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A50's 83.8 general score. The Google Pixel 5 construction is newer and just a bit lighter, but also a little thicker than Samsung Galaxy A50. The Google Pixel 5 has a little sharper display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with a little bit better display density.
The Galaxy A50 counts with a much greater memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A50 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Google Pixel 5 counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 5 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a way less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, and they both have a same size aperture, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with a larger back camera sensor capturing better quality photographs and videos and a way better video definition.
Google Pixel 5 has just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A50. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy A50, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
