Huawei Mate X is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A50, with a global score of 89.4 against 83.8. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison review, Huawei Mate X is a way heavier and noticeably thicker cellphone than Samsung Galaxy A50. The Huawei Mate X counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy A50, because it has a little higher pixels amount per screen inch, a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px and a bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a superior camera than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a back camera with lot less megapixels resolution and a lot tinier back camera sensor shooting lot lower quality pictures, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better captures and video in low light environments.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 384 GB more internal storage. Huawei Mate X counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy A50, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A50. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy A50, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
