Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is just a bit better than Huawei P40 lite 5G, having a global score of 83.8 against 83.4. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A50 is older than the Huawei P40 lite 5G, it's design is thinner and lighter. Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 lite 5G has a screen that's just as good as the Galaxy A50 one, although the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a little greater pixel density and a little bit larger display. Huawei P40 lite 5G features a much better camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a lot higher 64 mega pixels resolution camera and a lot higher (4K) video definition.
