Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is slightly better than Galaxy A50, with an 88.2 score against 83.8. Huawei P40 Pro is a newer phone than the Galaxy A50, although it's noticeably heavier and thicker. The Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy A50, because it has a bit higher 1200 x 2640px resolution, a bit higher pixels density and a little larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy A50, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei P40 Pro captures greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light images and video, it also counts with a much larger camera sensor capturing much higher quality photographs and videos, a back camera with lot more mega pixels and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Huawei P40 Pro has just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy A50, because it has a 4200mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
