Comparison review

The LG Velvet is just a bit better than Galaxy A50, getting a global score of 87.1 against 83.8. The LG Velvet is a newer phone than Galaxy A50, but it is just a bit heavier and just a little thicker. LG Velvet features a screen that's just as good as the display in Samsung Galaxy A50, because although the LG Velvet has a quite inferior pixels amount in each inch of display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2460 resolution and a quite larger display.

The LG Velvet counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG Velvet also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet has a bit better processing power than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG Velvet also has more RAM.

LG Velvet shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality, a camera with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution and a much higher (4K) video definition.

LG Velvet features a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A50, because it has an 8 percent larger battery size.

Although LG Velvet is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A50. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy A50, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
