Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is slightly better than Galaxy A50, with an 85.3 score against 83.8. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a incredibly newer and thinner phone than Galaxy A50, although it is also much heavier. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a just a little worse display pixels density, it also counts with a larger display and a way higher 1892 x 2688 resolution.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has a 4449mAh battery size. The Galaxy A50 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A50. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy A50, resigning some specifications.
