Motorola edge is just a bit better than the Galaxy A50, having an 89.6 score against 83.8. Although Motorola edge is newer than Galaxy A50, it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. The Galaxy A50 counts with a little bit better display than Motorola edge, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a bit better pixels count in each screen inch.

Motorola edge features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Motorola edge also has more RAM memory. Motorola edge counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 1000 GB and 128 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Motorola edge features just a bit better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. The Motorola edge captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a way larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a back camera with a much higher resolution and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A50. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy A50, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
