Motorola Edge (2022) has a score of 84.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A50's 83.8 global score. Although Motorola Edge (2022) is a lot newer than Samsung Galaxy A50, it's a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier. Motorola Edge (2022) features a little faster processor than Galaxy A50, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Motorola Edge (2022) also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Motorola Edge (2022) and Galaxy A50 both have very similar screens, because although the Motorola Edge (2022) has a bit inferior quantity of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2400px resolution and a bit bigger screen. Galaxy A50 features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge (2022), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A50 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Motorola Edge (2022) has improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh. Motorola Edge (2022) counts with a much better camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images and video in low-light environments, it also counts with a back camera with a way higher 50 mega pixels resolution and a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Although Motorola Edge (2022) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A50. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A50, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
