Galaxy A50 is better than OnePlus 8 UW, with a score of 83.8 against 75.9. Although Galaxy A50 is older than OnePlus 8 UW, it's design is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter. OnePlus 8 UW has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a greater amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy A50, because it has a bit larger screen, a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit higher display pixels density. OnePlus 8 UW has a superior camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking photographs in low-light environments, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor, a lot better resolution camera in the back and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The OnePlus 8 UW has just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy A50, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy A50 is also by far the cheapest, which makes it an obvious call.
