Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 has an overall score of 87.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy A50's general score of 83.8. The Samsung Galaxy A71 body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy A50, but it's a little heavier. The Samsung Galaxy A50 and the Samsung Galaxy A71 both have extremely similar processors, and although the Samsung Galaxy A71 has more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy A50 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better screen pixels density. The Galaxy A71 counts with as much memory capacity for games and applications as Galaxy A50, both have the same internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 takes greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a camera in the back with a lot better resolution, a lot larger back camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a much better (4K) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A50, because it has a 13 percent bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy A71 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A50. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy A50, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
