Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is just a bit better than the Galaxy A50, with an 85.2 score against 83.8. Although Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is better than Galaxy A50, it must be noted that it's also a a bit thicker and a little bit heavier phone. The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a quite bigger screen, a quite higher amount of pixels in each display inch and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340px resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018)'s processor is just as good as the processing unit in Samsung Galaxy A50, and although the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a larger amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy A9 (2018) takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A50, because although it has a worse 24 megapixels resolution camera in the back, and they both have a F1.7 camera aperture and a 0.36 inches back-facing camera sensor, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also counts with a much higher (4K) video quality.
Galaxy A9 (2018) and Galaxy A50 both have very similar memory for games and applications, both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB and the same 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy A50 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
