The Samsung Galaxy Fold has an overall score of 97.6, which is better than Samsung Galaxy A50's 83.8 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Fold construction is a little thinner but heavier than the Samsung Galaxy A50, and they were released only a few months apart. The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a little bit better display than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Fold features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy A50, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Fold takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a back-facing camera with a much worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light situations, a much better 3840x2160 video definition and a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs.
Galaxy Fold features a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy A50. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A50, resigning some features and specs.
