Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a global score of 94.8, which is better than Galaxy A50's overall score of 83.8. The Samsung Galaxy S20 construction is newer and just a little bit lighter, but also just a little thicker than the Galaxy A50. Samsung Galaxy S20 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has more RAM memory.

The Galaxy S20 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels number in each inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 3200px. The Samsung Galaxy S20 has just a bit bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.

Galaxy S20 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and videos and a camera in the back with way less mega pixels, it also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much better quality pictures and videos and a much better video quality.

Galaxy A50 and Galaxy S20 have extremely similar battery performance.

Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy A50. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy A50, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
