Comparison review
Galaxy S20 FE is slightly better than Galaxy A50, having a overall score of 90.8 against 83.8. Even though the Galaxy S20 FE is newer than Galaxy A50, it is heavier and a bit thicker. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a little higher pixels density and a quite larger display.
The Galaxy S20 FE has a bit more storage for applications and games than Galaxy A50, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S20 FE also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy A50, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE also has a larger amount of RAM.
Galaxy S20 FE has a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A50, because it has a 13 percent larger battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE takes a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a back facing camera with a much lower 12 mega-pixels resolution and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, it also counts with a way larger camera sensor which gives a way better photo and video quality and a way higher (4K) video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A50. If you want to save some money, you can buy Galaxy A50, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
