Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit better than the Galaxy A50, having an 85.7 score against 83.8. Galaxy S6 Edge is an a lot older cellphone than Galaxy A50, but it is extremely lighter and a little thinner anyway. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy A50 features a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A50, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an additional graphics processor and a 64 bits processing unit.
The Galaxy A50 takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier sensor which gives a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a back camera with a lot better 25 MP resolution and a larger camera aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a much longer battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy A50, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy A50. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy A50, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
