The Galaxy A50 is slightly better than the Galaxy S8, with an 83.8 score against 81.7. Galaxy A50's construction is newer and just a bit thinner than Galaxy S8's, although it's also a bit heavier. The Galaxy A50 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 both have extremely similar processors, both of them have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.

Galaxy S8 features a little bit better display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a greater pixel number per screen inch. The Galaxy A50 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing worse quality photographs, and they both have the same camera aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a camera with a lot higher 25 megapixels resolution.

Galaxy A50 counts with a much greater memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy A50 features superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 33 percent more battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy A50 is a better device, it is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy A50, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S8, resigning some features and specifications.
